Alcohol free beer has come a long way in recent years and shows no sign of slowing down. AB InBev reported over 25% growth in non-alcoholic beer sales in July 2019. It also forecasts sales to total 20% of their business by 2025. Now that's a sobering thought! Megabreweries aren't the only ones seeing the opportunities. Smaller breweries have taken on the challenge with great passion and innovation.

Alcohol free spirits - unheard of until quite recently, now entering the mainstream. These shifts explain why more and more non-alcoholic alternatives are hitting the market. Whether distilled or not, there is great variety out there. Like alcoholic spirits, it's a matter of finding the right ones for you. Our main recommendation with most is not to try them neat unless it says to do this on the bottle. Many should be mixed with a a good quality mixer.

Alcohol free cider is more than apple juice. Well, usually. There are some out there whose bottles have you fooled and remind you of non-alcopops. Thus the hunt is on for that authentic cider taste, and all the myriad of variations therein. With only approx 10% of outlets stocking it, yet almost 60% rise in popularity, it seems clear that the future for this drink is bright... providing outlets listen to their consumers.

Alcohol free wine is getting better we're told. Is it there yet? 50% of us avoiding alcohol during a working week so it's no surprise that there are more and more non-alcoholic wines on the shelves. Some are nothing more than expensive grape juice, but others have potential. We recognise that there has to be a big incentive to gamble over £5 on a subject whose weaker brethren have disappointed in the past. This is why reviews from experts and consumers are so very important in this field.

Alcohol free cocktails, or 'mocktails' as they are often known, are the life and soul of the party. After a bit of a lull in the 90s, it seems cocktails are making a come back. Yet consumers now expect to be able to reduce calories, look after their liver, drive, take prescribd medication, and remain on top form. This section focuses on pre-mixed, off-the-shelf kind of drinks. We do hope to add some awesome mocktail recipes to our site soon though.
